Ralph’s Famous Italian Ices has arrived in Jersey City. Established in 1928 by Ralph Silvestro, the Staten Island-based shop opened earlier this month on the corner of Grove and Newark Avenue (adjacent to Basile’s Pizza).
The Jersey City outpost offers 24 different Italian ice flavors. They run the gamut from traditional flavors like cherry and chocolate to tropical flavors like passion fruit and pink guava. In addition to Italian ices, Ralph’s also offers six milk shakes varieties and 12 ice cream flavors. Ralph’s Famous Italian Ices includes locations throughout New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.
