Tis the season for winter cocktails and if you’re looking for something that can put a fire in your belly — chances are you’ll like what the Rooftop at Exchange Place has in store.
The waterfront cocktail bar has teamed up with local ice cream shop Milk Sugar Love to create the “Local Girl Makes Good Hot Cocoa” ($8) — a hot chocolate made with organic milk/cream and topped with a trio of dessert bites including a Milk Sugar Love-made chocolate chip cookie, Madagascar vanilla bean marshmallow, and fudge brownie.
The drink can be “spiked” (+$5) and made with your choice of Ancho Reyes Chile Liqueur, Frangelico Hazelnut Liqueur, or Godiva Milk Chocolate Liqueur.
As part of its new cocktail menu, the Rooftop at Exchange Place is also offering a variety of other “hot cocktails” including:
- Satbe Cider: Hot Apple Cider, Mulled Spices, Add Laird’s Applejack Whiskey
- The Accomplice: Courvoisier VSOP Cognac, House Made Cinnamon Syrup, Fresh Lemon Juice
- EWR: Cocoa Infused Campari, Amaro Nonino, Makers Mark, Fresh Lemon Juice
- Lads and Molasses: Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva Rum, Mole Bitters, Demerara Syrup
- Two Weeks’ Notice: Cocoa Infused Campari, Amaro Nonino, Makers Mark, Fresh Lemon Juice
Head up — the Rooftop’s hot cocktails are available Fridays and Saturdays only.
