Residents living at The Enclave received an extra amenity this past week. The new luxury rental has named Lyft as its official transportation partner. That means that in addition to a designated Lyft pick-up/drop-off area, Enclave residents will also get their own Citi Bike hub/station. (Lyft recently acquired Motivate, which is the firm behind Citi Bike).
“We’re excited to be able to offer a seamless experience for residents at The Enclave by providing access to both rideshare and Citi Bike within the Lyft app,” said Eric Plummer, Market Manager of Lyft New Jersey.
Since the Motivate acquisition, Citi Bike rentals can now be made from within the Lyft app. Customers can “unlock” a bike with just a few taps from the app. A single 30-minute trip costs just $3.
Citi Bike currently has over 50 stations throughout Jersey City. An annual membership costs $169 and includes unlimited, 45-minute rides throughout Jersey City and New York.
Located at 675 Monmouth Street, The Enclave features 260 luxury apartments and more than 40,000 square feet of amenity space. Since leasing kicked off in May, over 65% of The Enclave’s apartments have been accounted for.
Lyft has been very active in Jersey City this past year. In addition to offering 50% off weekend rides, the ride-share app has also started offering trips to the Jersey Shore for a flat fee of $79/pp.
