Just Beclaws Jersey City

Just in time for the weekend, three popular (and very missed) Jersey City eateries are reopening today. Just BeClaws, Korai Kitchen, and Roman Nose are all slated to reopen on Friday, May 1.

Located at 280 First Street, Just BeClaws is one of the best seafood restaurants in Jersey City. As of Friday, the restaurant will offer contactless delivery and curbside pickup of their Vietnamese-Cajun-inspired eats. Customers will be able to order via GrubHub or over the phone. To ensure you’re supporting the restaurant, customers will be able to pay for their orders via Just BeClaws’ Venmo account (@JustBeclaws).

The family-operated BYOB, which opened back in the summer of 2015, offers a mix of Cajun-Vietnamese seafood including po’ boys, lobster rolls, gumbo, and a wide assortment of seafood. You can also purchase crab, crawfish, clams, and other types of shellfish by the pound. Just BeClaws has an ongoing GoFundMe to help support its staff.

Bangladeshi restaurant Korai Kitchen (576 Summit) is also reopening on Friday. The small BYOB restaurant has gained a huge following for its flavorful, home-cooked meals. It’s also the first Bangladeshi restaurant in Jersey City.

Korai Kitchen has made it to Yelp’s “Top 50 Restaurants in North Jersey” list for the past two years. The restaurant doesn’t have an a la carte menu, but instead offers a buffet so that diners can try a bit of everything. They will be open for takeout and delivery only. They will open Tuesdays through Fridays from 5:30pm to 9pm. On weekends, they will open from 12pm to 4pm and from 6pm to 9pm. You can follow their Instagram for any updates.

Roman Nose Jersey City

Last — but not least — Roman Nose has announced that it will reopen on Friday. The Italian restaurant, which offers an excellent range of homemade pastas and pizzas (plus a killer tiramisu), will be open Fridays through Sundays from 3pm to 8pm. They will offer contactless pickup and delivery. Online orders can be made via their website at romannosejc.com and deliveries can be made on UberEats.
