Cocktails, brews, and comedy shows return to Journal Square this Friday. JSQ Lounge has announced via social media that it will reopen on Friday, July 2 at 11am. (The news is also posted on its website). The lounge temporarily closed in August of 2020 as the city dealt with the pandemic.
Unfortunately, there will be no food menu during its reopening. (Although we certainly hope they brink back their waffled chicken wings). They will, however, return with a free comedy show scheduled for Friday night at 8:30pm.
Located at 50 Journal Square, the two-floor lounge is one of Jersey City’s best bars offering local beers and seasonal cocktails in a relaxed, laid back environment.
