1: Jersey City now has 50 confirmed COVID-19 cases. “We expect that trend to continue until there is more testing in NJ. We also expect to have multiple testing sites in Hudson County early this week,” said Mayor Fulop in a tweet. The latest number includes two JCPD officers. (As alarming as the numbers might seem, keep in mind that they will continue to rise as more people are tested). —Fulop/Twitter
2: As of March 22, there are 1,327 (up from 890) positive COVID-19 cases in New Jersey with 16 deaths (up from 11) total. The five counties with the most positive cases are:
- Bergen County (363 up from 249)
- Middlesex (116 up from 76)
- Essex (107 up from 73)
- Hudson (97 up from 66)
- Monmouth (92 up from 53)
