The Jersey City waterfront is gaining a new gastropub.
Hudson & Co. Bar and Grill is now taking reservations for dinner this week.
Located at 3 Second Street (between the Lutze and Taphaus), the 12,000-square foot restaurant — which Jersey Digs reported on last week — seats 300 diners and has multiple dining room options including a terrace that overlooks the Hudson River.
Helming the kitchen is executive chef Stefan Ondrus (AOA Bar & Grill, BLT Bar & Grill) and chef de cuisne Dmitri Petriakov (3 Westerly Bar & Grill, BLT Prime).
The restaurant’s menu focuses on a mix of surf and turf with entrees like Bronzino ($26), 40-Day Dry Aged NY Strip ($48), Butternut Squash Ravioli ($23), and a mix of sushi, sashimi, and rolls (from $9).
There’s also a brick oven pizza menu (from $14), burger menu (from $14), and non-meat eaters have a mix of salad options (from $8). At the bar, you’ll also find a variety of over 100 craft beers, cocktails, and wines.
Hudson & Co. Bar and Grill will be open 7 days a week from 11:30am, although keep in mind that their hours might be slightly different on opening week. Currently, the earliest reservation you can make on their system is for Thursday at 6:30pm.
