New bakery kiosk at Harborside
Hoboken-based bakery Baking Mama is officially a part of the Harborisde Pop-Up food hall. The bakery is offering a selection of cupcakes (chocolate, vanilla, dulce de leche), cookies, and macarons. They’ll be at Harborside for the next three months on weekdays from 11am to 5pm. (I tried their cupcakes and cake slices at Midnight Market and they’re one of my favorite local bakeries — definitely recommend the dulce de leche cupcake).
Mordi’s Sandwich Shop now open on Communipaw
Mordi’s Sandwich Shop has soft opened in Bergen-Lafayette. Located at 320 Communipaw Avenue, the shop is offering schnitzel, pita, and many of the food truck’s signature sandwiches.
Negroni Week returns to Jersey City
Negroni Week is back with multiple Jersey City bars taking part in the annual fundraiser. Participating this year are The Archer, Dullboy, Porta Pizza, Buddy Who’s, Atlas, Low Fidelity, Third & Vine, South House, Roman Nose, and VB3. Order a Negroni at any of the participating bars and they’ll make a donation to one of these charities.
Crepe Guru deliveries begin next week
Crepe Guru has announced it will begin making local Jersey City deliveries Friday, June 15. They expect to open for business at their new location at 110 Bright Street sometime in July.
