What you need to know for Tuesday, March 31:

1: Jersey City now has 820 confirmed COVID-19 (up from 334 last reported on Saturday). There have also been 6 deaths.

2: New Jersey currently has 16,636 (up from 13,386) positive COVID-19 cases with 198 deaths (up from 161) total. The counties with the most positive cases are:

  • Bergen County: 2,482 (up from 2,169)
  • Essex: 1,564 (up from 1,227)
  • Hudson: 1,314 (up from 974)
  • Union: 1,213 (up from 896)
  • Middlesex: 1,123 (up from 938)
  • Passaic: 1,091 (up from 831)

  • Jersey City has two coronavirus testing facilities open 7 days a week from 9am to 5pm. A walk-up center is located at the JC Fire Headquarters at 465 Marin Boulevard and a drive-thru coronavirus testing facility is located at 575 Route 440. You must call (201) 547-5535 to make an appointment.
