Skyscrapers aren’t the only thing renting in downtown Jersey City.
Hamilton Park’s newest luxury rental — 485 Marin — is now open for leasing.
Located on the corner of Marin and 8th Street, the new rental brings 397 apartments to the neighborhood, which is predominantly known for its picturesque tree-lined streets and brownstones.
Unlike KRE’s previous Jersey City project — the 53-story Journal Squared tower — 485 Marin maxes out at 18 stories. The building is clad in red brick and sports a unique slice down the middle, which was added to create a visual corridor for the existing residents of the area.
Apartments start on the fifth floor and range from studios to three-bedroom residences, with many offering private terraces. All units feature open floor plans along with all the expected finishes of a luxury rental like oak-style wood flooring, quartz stone countertops, and Whirlpool washer/dryer sets.
Amenities include a fitness center, private dining room, screening room, and attended lobby, along with a 5th-floor lounge with outdoor swimming pool, sunbathing area, and grilling stations.
Like other KRE Group buildings, 485 Marin also offers access to the app-based Hello Alfred service, a platform that lets you book helpers for everything from grocery shopping to picking up your dry cleaning.
A major public amenity for the entire area will be the construction of a new park for all local residents to enjoy. Spanning more than an acre, the park will include cafe-style seating, children’s playground, and a dog park for your puppers.
Prices at 485 Marin begin at $2,300 for a studio.
