1: New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy is recommending an 8pm to 5am statewide curfew effective now. Murphy listed other closures like theaters, gyms, and casinos.
2: In his daily Facebook Live Q&A, Mayor Steven Fulop announced Jersey City has 5 positive coronavirus cases. Fulop can no longer disclose the neighborhoods these residents live in (as he previously had on Twitter) due to the Health Insurance Portability And Accountability Act (HIPAA). —FB Live
3: Per the New York Times, New Jersey now has a statewide total of 176 COVID-19 cases with 3 deaths. New York has 950 cases with 9 deaths. New York is overtaking Washington as the state with the biggest cluster of COVID-19 cases. —NYT
4: Two NJ healthcare workers have tested positive for COVID-19. One works at Bayonne Medical Center and the other at Hoboken University Medical Center. They are self quarantined at home. Christ Hospital has no recorded cases among its staff and Jersey City Medical Center declined to comment on its staff. —NJ.com
5: New York has enacted a moratorium on evictions statewide until further notice. —Curbed
