Karaoke Pride Night at LITM (Monday)
Kick off Jersey City Pride Month with a round (or more) of karaoke at LITM. The event is an official Jersey City LGBT Pride Festival event an will include extended happy hour specials, $7 Mules, and more. Karaoke starts at 9pm.
Lobster Palooza at Surf City (through August 18)
Reminder: Surf City continues to celebrate all things lobster during its Lobster Palooza Festival. The waterfront bar will have a lobster menu with 17 different entrees. Dishes include Lobster Thermidor, Lobster Ramen Soup, and Lobster Paella. The special menu will be available through Sunday, August 18.
Drink & Draw at Frankie (Tuesday)
Put your sketching skills to work during Frankie’s August Drink & Draw. This BYO supplies event costs $10/pp, which covers the cost of the live model.
Segunda Quimbamba & Carol Lester Band at Lincoln Park (Wednesday)
This month’s Music at the Fountain performer will be Jersey City’s highly energetic Segunda Quimbamba and the Carol Lester Band. The former play drum music of Puerto Rico, whereas the latter offer Brazilian percussion and sax.
Rosé Tasting at Halifax Hoboken (Wednesday)
Although it’s technically in Hoboken, Halifax is one of our favorite restaurants. This Wednesday they’re hosting a casual Rosé Around the World Tasting with food pairings. Tickets are $48/pp (includes tax and gratuity).
Pride Night at Harry’s Daughter (Wednesday)
August is Pride Month in Jersey City and Harry’s Daughter is kicking things off with their very first Pride Party from 5pm till close. There will be guest DJs, drink specials, and more.
Mojito Cocktail Class (Thursday)
Mojitos are classic summer cocktails mixing sweetness with citrus and herbaceous mint. Learn to make this Cubcan cocktail at Liberty House’s Mojito Cocktail Class. Admission is $45/pp and it includes drinks and appetizers.
