Plant Base Now Open in Bergen-Lafayette
After this weekend’s open house, Plant Base is officially opening its doors this week. Their weekday hours will be 7am to 10am and 5pm to 10pm. Make sure to follow their Instagram account for any updates on hours/weekend hours.
Hudson Restaurant Week (Through August 2)

Sweetberry Newport Debuts Poké Bowls (Monday)
As of today, the Sweetberry Newport shop will offer poké bowls in addition to their traditional açaí bowls and smoothies.
SummerFest at Liberty State Park (Tuesday)
SummerFest takes place every Sunday and Tuesday evening at LSP during the months of July and August. Tonight’s free show is headlined by Erich Cawalla & The Uptown Band, which specialize in contemporary R&B and swing jazz.
Music at the Fountain at Lincoln Park (Wednesday)
Music at the Fountain returns with a free performance by Spirit of Life Ensemble — a band that blends the rhythms of Latin America, South America, the Caribbean, and Africa to produce “jazz with a world beat.” The family-friendly event runs from 7pm to 9pm.
Summer Dance Concert Series at Exchange Place (Wednesday)
The Summer Dance Concert Series brings live dance performances to the Jersey City waterfront. All of the events are free and held on Wednesdays at the J. Owen Grundy Pier from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. This week’s performance comes courtesy of Nimbus Dance.
Flower Decorating Workshop at Harborside (Thursday)
In need of a mid-day break? Petal+Eon is hosting a DIY flower arrangement workshop at Harborside from 11am to 2pm. The company teaches you to make arrangements using organically preserved real flowers that will last a full year. Admission is $25/pp.
Craft Night at The Cliff (Thursday)
The Cliff is hosting a Succulent Night/Workshop with Rivington Rose. You’ll make your own succulent while enjoying treats and drinks from The Cliff.
