Riverview Jazz Fest kicks off throughout Jersey City (Monday)

‘Yarns’ premiers at JC Theater Center (Thursday)
Local theater company No Dominion Theatre and the Jersey City Theater Center are teaming up to present “Yarns,” a story that “explores the parallels between sex work and fiber arts, as a group of five women seek change and empowerment despite the hostile world that surrounds them.” The performance will run Thursday through Saturday at 8pm each night. Sweetberry Bowls grand opening (Thursday)
Healthy eats have arrived at Newark Avenue. Sweetberry Bowls will celebrate its ribbon cutting ceremony today at noon. The shop offers açaí, pitaya, coconut, and green bowls in addition to coffee and salads.
Latte-decorating class at Hidden Grounds (Friday)
