From the opening of Flatbread Grill in Journal Square to Barcade’s 7-year anniversary, here’s your guide to the best events happening in and around Jersey City this week.

Drink and draw at Frankie (Wednesday)
Frankie is hosting its first drink & draw session at its upstairs private room. You’ll have to bring your own supplies, but your $20 ticket includes one drink, drink specials throughout the night, and a female model, who will be your painting muse.

Cocktail-making class at Liberty House (Wednesday)
Cinco de Mayo may be a distant — and perhaps blurry — memory, but the folks at Liberty House Restaurant are celebrating Nueve de Mayo with a cocktail class where you’ll learn to make the perfect Tequila Sunrise and Margarita. Admission is $45/pp and it includes lite bites.

Patron dinner tasting at Halifax (Wednesday)
Halifax is breaking out the Patron. The Hoboken-based restaurant is hosting a Patron and 4-course dinner tasting tonight with Patron’s new Extra Añejo taking center stage. Tickets are $59/pp and it includes a cocktail reception at 7pm followed by dinner with Patrón pairings at 7:30pm. (Halifax is just a few blocks away from the Hoboken PATH station).

Flatbread Grill opens in Journal Square (Thursday)
From Montclair, to Hoboken, and now Jersey City. Flatbread Grill is opening its first JC-based bakery today at 11am at 26 Journal Square. The first 25 customers get a free mini flat-top platter and the 100th customer gets a $100 Visa Gift Card.

Barcade 7th Anniversary Party (Thursday)
Barcade is celebrating its 7-year anniversary in Jersey City with free swag, giveaways, and plenty of beer. On tap for the birthday night are: Brooklyn Black Ops (11.5% Imperial Stout), Bruery Mash & Coconut (13.3% Imperial Brown Ale), Kane Mexican Brunch (9.2% Imperial porter with chili pepper and cinnamon), and Victory Wisdom’s Hour (9.5% Sour Ale aged in bourbon barrels).

BRMC at White Hall (Friday)
Close out the week — and start the weekend — at White Eagle Hall as California’s Black Rebel Motorcycle Club make their Jersey City debut.
