From Hooked’s first pop-up dinner to FM’s first live performance, here’s your list of can’t miss events for this final week of February.

90s karaoke at LITM (Monday)
Get ready to belt out your favorite 90s tunes at LITM’s 90s Karaoke Night. The karaoke starts at 9pm and the event will include prizes and drink specials.

Hooked pop-up dinner (Tuesday)
Tonight’s the big night. Hooked chef and co-owner Tory Aunspach is planning a pop-up seafood dinner that’ll showcase Aunspach’s years of experience as a private chef. The dinner is BYOB and will be held inside Hooked’s back dining room. (RSVP required; tickets are $75/pp).

Cider and cheese tasting at Jersey Wine & Spirits (Tuesday)
Forget wine and cheese. Jersey Wine & Spirits and Van Hook Cheese are dedicating Tuesday night to Cider + Cheese Pairings. The class will include five pairings, tasting notes, and a brief history of each cheese/cider picked for the night. The event will be held at Jersey Wine & Spirits; tickets are $40/pp.

HopsScotch closes its doors permanently (Wednesday)
After a 5-year run, HopsScotch will permanently shut down Wednesday night. In the meantime, all beer is 50 percent off (you can even bring your growlers).

FM’s first live performance (Thursday)
FM is ready for its big-stage debut. After its recent revamp, FM will have its first live performance tonight as Universal Rebel take the stage at 9pm.

JC Fridays returns for March (Friday)
JC Fridays is a quarterly, city-wide arts festival held at various restaurants, galleries, and venues throughout Jersey City. Events include “Jersey City: Hidden in Plain Sight,” which will feature oil paintings by Lucy Maolepszy (pictured), Ricardo Roig, and more; “Painting Jersey City,” which will showcase the works of artist Doug Madill; and “Three Divas of Song,” an evening of swing and jazz as performed by Sofia Rei.
