Mayor Steven Fulop has shared a rendering of the city’s plan to energize the waterfront walkway.
The rendering shows a children’s playground, a spray park, green space for picnics, and a new overall design that can accommodate stages/tents for live performances.
One thing the rendering doesn’t show is the Katyn Memorial, which according to Mayor Fulop will “be prominently displayed somewhere significant in Jersey City with community support.”
Just sharing Exchange Place initial plans. The goal is energizing the waterfront walkway. The plans include a children’s playground, a spray park, green space for picnics like the piers in Hoboken, and the parks are designed for stages/tents for live performances. #JerseyCity pic.twitter.com/dXWi0Jqj4F
