One of our favorite coffee shops is expanding to Journal Square. Starting this week, Hybrid Coffee will be Mana Contemporary’s cafe operator serving coffee-based drinks, teas, and their mouth-watering baked goods.
If you’re not familiar with Hybrid, it’s one of the best cafes in Jersey City. The locally-owned cafe started as a mobile espresso cart situated along the Jersey City waterfront. Shorty after, they opened their first brick-and-mortar cafe in the Heights. They’ve since relocated to downtown Jersey City at 398 Manila where they’ve become a staple among the community and a must-visit for coffee lovers.
In addition to drinks, the Mana Contemporary location will also serve a selection of Hybrid’s house-made pastries including donuts (lemon blueberry, cardamon rosé, and Dutch grey) alongside croissants and bread pudding. Over the next few days they’ll start adding other food items and beverages from their menu.
They’re located in the lobby of Mana Contemporary (888 Newark Avenue) and will operate weekdays from 8am to 4pm. You can follow them on Insta for any updates and menu sneak peeks.
