New Year’s Eve is just around the corner and if you’re looking to party locally, you’ve come to the right place. We’ve rounded up a list of restaurants and bars that are hosting New Year’s Eve events next Saturday. If you’re interested in attending any of the parties/dinners, it’s strongly recommended that you call ahead and make reservations (if required).
Barcade: No reservations, no cover charge, and plenty of rare-aged draft beers are just some of the things you can expect at Barcade’s New Year’s bash. (You can check out the draft list here). Plus, receive a complimentary champagne toast at midnight.
Cellar 335: For a tiki-inspired New Year’s, head to Cellar 335’s New Year’s Eve Masquerade party. Admission is $100 per person and includes open bar from 9pm to 1am (all drinks included), passed food from 9pm to 11pm, and a champagne toast at midnight.
Halifax: Located at the W Hoboken, Halifax (pictured above) specializes in farm and coastal cuisine from Nova Scotia to the Northeast. For its first New Year’s Eve party, it’s offering two seating options: The first starts at 5.30pm and consists of three-courses ($75/pp) with optional wine pairings available for each course, whereas the 8.30pm seating features five courses and an open bar ($175/pp).
The Hutton: The Hutton has one of the best New Year’s Eve deals you’ll find. For $45, you get a three-course dinner and glass of champagne. Or for $55/pp you can opt for the open bar from 9pm to 12am, which also includes hors d’oeuvres.
Latham House: Latham House will be serving a special three-course, $70/pp prix fixe menu on New Year’s Eve (in addition to its full dinner menu). Dinner will include noisemakers and a champagne toast.
Liberty House: If stellar views of the New York skyline are required, dinner at the Liberty House is a must. From 5pm to 8pm there will be a prix fixe dinner and from 9pm to 1am the restaurant will offer a buffet dinner complete with open bar and a midnight champagne toast. The cost for either seating is $180/pp.
Mathews: Mathews will offer two seatings on New Year’s Eve. The 5.30pm seating consists of three courses and costs $55/pp; the 9pm seating is five courses for $90. Both can be accompanied by an optional $40 wine pairing. You can check out both menus here (PDF) and RSVP here.
McGinley Square Pub: McGinley Square Pub is giving you the choice of a no reservations, pay-as-you-drink option or pay $40 for open bar access from 8pm to 12am.
Orale: Orale is throwing a Dr. Seuss-inspired New Year’s Eve bash. For $125/pp, you get open bar till midnight, a four-course dinner, party favors, and a midnight toast.
Pasta Dal Cuore: The Pet Shop Wine Bar, Jersey Girls Food Tours, and Pasta Dal Cuore have teamed up to create an Italian New Year’s Eve dinner. Each five-course dinner will be paired by wine from P.S. Wine Bar and will offer meat, seafood, or vegetarian options. Pet Shop: Pet Shop is saying goodbye to 2016 in the most laid back kind of way — with no dress code, cover, or reservations. Plus, you get a free midnight glass of bubbly.
Raval: Raval’s end of year party kicks off at 10pm and will last through 1.30am. Music will include 80s, house, dance, old school hip-hop, and funk. RSVP is required and the open bar cost is $40/pp.
Sátis Bistro: Sátis is offering two seatings on Saturday night beginning at 6pm and 9pm. Tickets are $90/pp and include a five-course dinner, party favors, and champagne toast.
South House: Party like its 1977. South House’s Saturday Night Fever dance party will include music, food stations, and a champagne toast. No cover or reservations are required, simply show up with your best disco attire.
Taphaus: Taphaus is teaming up with Chicpea and Hayoner for a Truman Capote-inspired New Year’s Eve party. Tickets are $150/pp and VIP seating will also be available (if you roll that way). RSVP and dress code required.
Third & Vine: Mellow, hassle-free, and RSVP-free — Third & Vine’s New Year’s Eve party is shaping up to be chill and low key. The food and wine, on the other hand, will be extraordinary as always. Follow their Instagram account for more details on their special dishes for New Year’s Eve.
Zeppelin Hall Biergarten: Zeppelin Hall’s New Year’s Eve party includes a live DJ, complimentary noisemakers/hats, and access to one of the most impressive international beer selections you’ll find on this side of the Hudson. Even better, there’s no cover charge.
