The New Jersey Half Marathon & 5K (formerly Newport Liberty Half Marathon) will be held in Jersey City this Saturday, September 28. Admission for non-NYCRUNS members is $150 or $75, respectively. (You can register at NYCRUNS).
The race starts and finishes near the Newport PATH station and cuts through downtown, Hamilton Park, Bergen-Lafayette, Liberty State Park, and the waterfront. It’s a mostly flat race and USATF certified. Bag check will be provided for those who need it and there will also be water/electrolyte stations throughout the course.
Heads up, if you register online now, you can pick up your race bib at Elephant Park on September 27 or the morning of the race.
