There’s a new restaurant in Jersey City’s West Side neighborhood. Located at 331 West Side Avenue, West Bistro is a BYOB eatery specializing in all things Cuban.
The West Bistro menu includes all the classics you’d expect from a Cuban restaurant. That includes signature dishes like ropa vieja (shredded beef with rice and beans), Cuban pork fried rice (wok style Spanish stir fried rice with vegetables and seasoned pork), and chicken escabeche (sautéed chicken breast with peppers, onions, and rice with black beans). There are also sandwiches, including West Bistro’s take on the classic Cuban sandwich.
The restaurant is BYOB, but for the month of March they’re offering free sangria available Wednesdays through Fridays from 4pm to 10pm. You can follow WestBistroNJ on Insta for up to the minute menu/food updates.
