Wattle Cafe is now open in Jersey City. The new, health-focused cafe opened on May 3 in the base of 351 Marin Boulevard near the Grove PATH station.
“With this latest expansion, we’re excited for Wattle to become a local fixture in Jersey City,” said founder Ana Ivkosic. “We have created a menu that offers keto, gluten free, vegan, and sugar free food options.”
A look at Wattle Cafe menu includes items like the brekkie wrap (scrambled eggs, tomato, Swiss cheese), a variety of açaí bowls, and different takes on a Keto breakfast (scrambled eggs with avocado and bacon). There are also numerous “super food” waffles, sandwiches, salads, and grab-and-go items like chia pots and “wattle” bites. The latter are rolled oats with almonds, peanut butter, honey, coconut oil, vanilla, and cacao nibs.
Wattle also offers coffee roasted by a New York-based Australian roaster. The beans used are roasted in an organic facility and sourced directly from the farmer.
The coffee shop is located inside the lobby at 351 Marin and occupies 1,000 square feet of space. Although the kiosk itself is small, they have a full kitchen where all food is prepared. There are also power outlets and free Wi-Fi in the lobby should you want to linger. Wattle Cafe Jersey City joins existing Wattle coffee houses in New York City’s Murray Hill and Financial District.
Wattle Cafe is the latest coffee house in a long list of new cafes in Jersey City. Recently opened shops includes Three Thirds Cafe, Canard Cafe, and Bon Vivant Cafe. You can follow Wattle Cafe Jersey City on Instagram for updates and store hours.
