There’s a new neighborhood sandwich shop in the Heights. Veloce Sandwiches just opened at 457 Baldwin Avenue in what was formerly Baldwin Pizzeria. (The pizzeria closed back in October).
Like its namesake suggests, Veloce Specialty Sandwiches offers mouth-watering sammies, salads, and sides. The menu includes cold and hot classics like a chicken cutlet, Italian cheesesteak, eggplant parm, and chicken vodka parm. All sandwiches and salads are in the $11 to $14 range with sides like truffle fries and 10-piece chicken nuggets coming in at around $5 to $10.
Veloce is offering delivery straight from their website. (Make sure to also give them a follow on IG). They’re open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10am to 5pm and Sundays from 10am to 3pm, according to their website.
