Uber’s food delivery service — UberEats — is now available in parts of New Jersey, including Jersey City and Hoboken.
For $4.99 (plus the cost of your food), a nearby Uber driver will pick up your order from more than 100 participating restaurants and deliver it straight to your door. Because the UberEats app saves your credit card info, you don’t have to worry about cash exchanges once your food arrives. The service has been available in New York City since spring of 2016.
According to the rideshare company, the average order takes 30 minutes from start to finish.
Here in Jersey City you’ll be able to get your food delivered via Uber from some big-name restaurants including:
- Alex’s Italian Restaurant & Brick Oven Pizza
- The Big Straw
- BonChon Chicken
- Bucket & Bay Craft Gelato
- Caffebene Newport
- Carvao BBQ
- Dark Side of the Moo
