Move over, 99 Hudson. Two new luxury towers could be coming to the Jersey City waterfront. New York real estate developer Tishman Speyer and GSJC LLC (a subsidiary of Goldman Sachs) have submitted applications to develop properties at 50 and 55 Hudson Street, reports Jersey Digs.
The first tower — located at 55 Hudson — would stand 58-stories and include 1,017 units offering a mix of studios, one-, two-, and three-bedroom residences. The project would include approximately 62,749 square feet of retail. It would also include a new plaza along Hudson Street.
The second phase would include a 42-story tower at 50 Hudson that would reuse the existing 467-space garage. The building would offer 924 residences made up of studios, one-, and two-bedroom units. 50 Hudson would include 12,017 square feet of ground floor retail space.
Both towers would change the look of the Exchange Place waterfront, which itself is currently undergoing renovations.
