Paulus Hook residents have a new spot to get their caffeine fix.
Thinking Cup Cafe has (re)launched at 201 Warren Street, in the former home of Two Aprons. The cafe sports a new menu (gone are the rotisserie chickens) that focuses on Turkish/Mediterranean bites, tea, and coffee.
For morning commuters, the cafe features a variety of bagels and breakfast/egg sandwiches. Meanwhile, for lunch Thinking Cup currently has seven sandwiches that range from a Pesto Chicken Sandwich ($7.75) to a Basil/Mozzarella/Pesto sandwich ($7.75).
There are also salads, soups, and a variety of baked goods (scones, croissants, pie slices, etc.), which are baked off-site at a Turkish bakery.
Our personal favorite so far is the walnut baklava, which is sold in tiny bites for $1.75.
Thinking Cup Cafe is open seven days a week from 7:30am to 8pm.
