This weekend marks the soft opening of 8 Springs Studio, downtown’s latest boutique gym specializing in megaformer workouts. The studio will offer free demos of the megaformer machines, refreshments, and more.

When: Sunday, May 1 at 10am (on-site registration begins at 8.30am)
Where: Liberty State Park
The Joshua Louis Animal Cancer Foundation (JLACF) is a non-profit organization that provides financial assistance to families in need to treat their pets with cancer. This Sunday is the organization’s 5K run/walk (pets are welcome) followed by an ice cream party. Special guests include 106.7 Lite FM’s Christine Nagy. Registration is $50 on-site.

When: Sunday, May 1 from 11am – 5pm Due to the rainy forecast, the debut date has been pushed to Sunday, May 15
Where: Hudson Street & Columbus Drive (outside Exchange Place)
The 6th Borough Market is back debuting at its new location near Exchange Place (on Hudson Street and Columbus Drive). The outdoor market features local food, crafts, and arts all rolled into one festive block party. It will run the first and third Sunday of every month through October 16. Participants include The Guac Spot, Squeezed NJ, Bang Cookies, Liberty Humane Society (select dates only), Baonanas, and more.
