What: JC Families’ Valentine’s Day
When: Friday, February 12th from 4pm – 6pm
Where: Hamilton House at 255 Brunswick Street
This family-friendly event will have dozens of kid-friendly activities in celebration of Valentine’s Day including cookie decorating by Sugar Supply JC, arts & crafts by Kiddie Academy of Hamilton Park, and a child-friendly dance party. Tickets are $6 per child (adults enter free of charge).

What: The RED Party
When: Saturday, February 13th from 7.30pm – 11pm
Where: Barrow Mansion at 83 Wayne Street
Whether you’re single or taken, the RED Party is your excuse to get down and dance. The event will host a live DJ, small bites, and $5 drinks all night. Tickets cost $21.99 in advance or $25 at the door.

What: WHealth Pop-Up Dinner
When: Saturday, February 13th from 7.30pm – 11pm
Where: 109 Columbus Drive
WHealth is celebrating love and good health with their latest tapas-inspired, pop-up dinner to be held at 109 Christopher Columbus Drive. The event is BYOB and tickets are $49 per person. Entrees include mushroom dumpling soup, bone marrow toast, curry sausage, and cashew mortadella. You can check out the full menu at the site.

What: Valentine’s Baking & Decorating Class
When: Sunday, February 14th from 11am – 12.30pm
Where: Bambino Chef at 213 Newark Avenue
Celebrate Valentine’s Day as a family with Bambino Chef’s kid- and parent-friendly cooking and decorating class. Children of all ages are welcome and there will be adult beverages — mimosas — for moms and dads. RSVP is required and tickets cost $25.

What: Free Adoptions at Liberty Humane Society
When: Friday from 2pm – 7pm, Saturday & Sunday from 11am – 4pm
Where: Liberty Humane Society at 235 Jersey City Boulevard
You still have time to visit the Liberty Humane Society and rescue your new best friend. LHS is offering free adoptions through the weekend (adoption fees generally range from $120 to $225). Braveheart and Faithful will also be at the event, hoping to find someone who can adopt them together.

What: Science, Sabers, and Star Wars
When: Through February 15th from 9am – 6pm
Where: Liberty Science Center
Science, Sabers, and Star Wars is a weekend-long celebration of Star Wars and science. The exhibit features a range of interactive experiences and activities including a lightsaber-design exhibition, a drone flying arena, and a science demonstration of “the Force.”
