French bistro Madame Claude Bis is back after a brief hiatus. Diners once again have the option of eating outdoors, inside the restaurant, or inside a dining hall set up at White Eagle Hall. The concert venue boasts high ceilings and more space for better social distancing. There will also be live French music by Manouche Bag. Reservations are recommended. (This will be an ongoing event Thursdays through Saturdays).

Heights donut shop The LoDG is celebrating its 1-year anniversary with some weekend specials. On Friday, customers will get a free donut with any sandwich purchase. During the weekend, donuts are buy two, get one free.

Just in time for the weekend, Latham House is releasing a new menu drop with the return of our favorite dish — Thai bouillabaisse. Sister restaurant Emma’s (4 PATH Plaza at JSQ) also released a new menu last week.

What: Drive-In Movie Night (Joker)
When: Friday, March 5 at 7:15pm
Where: 107 Morgan Street (parking lot adjacent to CoolVines Powerhouse)
The Exchange Place Alliance, JC Families, and Ward E councilman James Solomon are teaming up for another drive-in movie night. In celebration of Black History Month, Friday’s film will be Joker. Admission is $20 per car and reservations are required. Gates will close at 8pm and no entry will be allowed after that time.

What: Easter Bunny Meet & Greet at The Cottage
When: Friday, March 5 from 3pm to 6pm
Where: 136 Monticello Avenue
The Cottage Jersey City is hosting an Easter Bunny meet & greet every Saturday/Sunday this month. The socially distanced event is held in their outdoor patio, which has been designed by Larkspur Botanicals. Admission is $15 and photos are permitted.

What: Con Vivo Music Tango Concert

Con Vivo Music is celebrating the life of Argentinian composer Astor Piazzolla with a virtual concert you can stream online. Piazzolla (1921-1992) revolutionized traditional tango with nuevo tango, which incorporates elements from jazz and classical music. Tickets for the virtual event cost $10.

Where: 1 Distillery Drive
Trivia returns to Corgi Spirits at a new time: Sunday at 3pm. The event includes three rounds of trivia with prizes for winning groups. Social distancing will be in effect and groups must adhere to a four person maximum. Admission is $8/pp.
