The 2017 JC Fridays season kicks off today with a weekend of live music and art galleries. JC Fridays is a free, city-wide celebration of local arts. Restaurants, bars, stores, and event spaces throughout the city showcase a variety of artwork and/or music for free to the public. It will feature rotating contemporary art exhibitions along with a dedicated section spotlighting unique furniture design and ceramics.

The Fest for Beatles Fans is a music festival that celebrates everything about The Beatles. It includes appearances by fellow musicians, artists, family members, friends, and associates from the Beatles world. The festival also carries the world’s largest selection of licensed Beatles merchandise and publishes the only Beatles mail order catalogue in circulation. Tickets start at $52 per day; children 5 years and under enter for free.

When: Saturday, March 4 at 10am
Where: Whealth Cafe at Harborside
Start the weekend with a gorgeous 5K run (or walk) along the Jersey City waterfront, led by avid runners David Trotta of Whealth and Jesse Barton of CKO Kickboxing. The casual run is open to all fitness levels and is followed by a quick cool down/meditation session and a healthy meal at the Whealth Harborside Cafe.
