Homegrown JC is teaming up with Shell N’ Tail, The Archer, and Ghost Hawk Brewing to bring you a special surf & turf beer dinner available all weekend. Shell N’ Tail will provide the seafood, The Archer will provide the beef/wild game, and Ghost Hawk Brewing Company will provide the brews.

What: Light-Up Pride Bike Ride
When: Friday, August 21 from 7:30pm to 10pm
Where: Grove PATH/Plaza
Bike JC and the JC Pride Festival are teaming up for a special bike ride celebrating the 20th Annual Jersey City LGBTQ+ Pride Festival. Riders are encouraged to decorate and light up their bikes in honor of the festivities. Cyclists will gather at 7:30pm and head out at sunset. Masks required.

What: Yoga at Canco Park
When: Saturday, August 22 from 9am to 10pm
Where: 70 Dey Street
Kick off your weekend with an hour of outdoor yoga led by Jessica Strickler. The 1-hour class is free and open to all levels. Masks are required and you must bring your own mat.

What: The Lucky Honeybee Grand Opening
When: Saturday, August 22 from 11am
Where: 487 Palisade Avenue
Eco-friendly JC shop The Lucky Honeybee is opening its first storefront at 487 Palisade Avenue. The shop will have a curated selection of apothecary goods, eco-friendly items, greeting cards, and handcrafted wares by local makers.

Unfortunately, there will be no outdoor Pride Festival in Jersey City this weekend. However, JC Pride is organizing 15 live and virtual events for a total of 6 hours of live streamed entertainment. Best of all, you can catch it all from the comforts of your home.

What: Outdoor Fitness Class with Four Fitness
When: Sunday, August 23 at 10am
Where: 686 Bergen Avenue
Get your sweat on with a free fitness class hosted by Four Fitness owner Marcisco Morrison. The outdoor class is designed to work your entire body using your own body weight. Masks will be required and you’ll have to bring your own mat.

What: Drag Bingo at Corgi Spirits
When: Sunday, August 23 from 3pm to 6pm
Where: 1 Distillery Drive
Head to Corgi Spirits for an afternoon of outdoor drag bingo hosted by Jersey City’s Harmonica Sunbeam. The first three are regular games, the next two games increase in difficulty, and the final game is a full board. Prizes will be given out to the winner of each round.
