What: Love, Liesel Grand Opening
When: Friday, March 4th at 4pm
Where: 298 Newark Avenue
Love, Liesel — a recently-opened jewelry, apothecary, and home goods store located steps away from Union Republic — is holding its grand opening event today at 4pm. Mayor Steven Fulop will be present and there will be wine, snacks, and discounts throughout the store.

JC Fridays is a quarterly city-wide arts festival that kicks off its 2016 season this Friday with various art events throughout Jersey City. Events include “The Art Project at 109 Columbus” which will feature a live performance by Chrissi Poland; “The Art Project at 255 Brunswick,” which will feature five floors of art at the Hamilton House; and “The Thousands” a photography exhibit held at Tea NJ, which recognizes Jersey City’s numerous feral cats. What: See Spot Rescued Luck of the Irish Adoption Event
When: Saturday, March 5th from 1pm – 4pm
Where: K9dergarten at 173 Newark Avenue
See Spot Rescued is holding an early St. Patrick’s Day adoption event this Saturday at K9dergarten. Among the pups looking for their forever home is Tamera Mowry, a 10-month Collie/Basenji mix; Ellie a sociable, 1-year-old black Lab; and Johnny Galecki, a 3-year-old Corgi/Australian Shepherd mix. What: Whealth Underground Restaurant Pop-Up Dinner
When: Saturday, March 5th from 7.30pm – 11pm
Where: The Convent at 187 Brunswick Street
Whealth’s next pop-up dinner will be held at a venue like no other. The dinner will be hosted at the Holy Rosary Convent at 187 Brunswick Street, a relic of Jersey City’s past. The three-course BYOB dinner will include small bites and entrees such as sweet potato gnocchi and duck rillette. Tickets are $45 per person. You can purchase tickets and view the full menu here.
