Goatchella is a socially-distanced evening of live music designed to raise money for the Historic Harsimus Cemetery. The concert is BYOB and you’re encouraged to bring your own blanket or chair (no pets allowed). Masks will be required for admission. Price is $30/pp.

The Anthony Fuscaldo Trio will be at Corgi Spirits tonight playing a live set of jazz, blues, and soul. Admission is free and there will be a full cash bar and food trucks/delivery available for food.

The McGinley Square Pedestrian Plaza is back. The McGinley Square SID has organized another pop-up along Bergen Avenue (from Duncan to Reed). The pop-up will occur Saturday & Sunday from noon till 10pm and will highlight food from local eateries like Guerrero, Coconut Latin Caribbean Grill, ITA Kitchen, and more.

902 Brewing will release its first Oktoberfest brew this afternoon. Swing by the brewery for some beer, German food, and German music.

What: Tomato Fest at Whealth Kitchen

Where: 615 Pavonia Avenue
Whealth Kitchen is celebrating the tomato with an entire afternoon dedicated to the nightshade vegetable. The day will kick off with a cooking class followed by lunch, another cooking class, and contests. The event is free for all ages.

Zeppelin Hall is re-opening just in time for Oktoberfest. There will be Oktoberfest bands, socially distanced garden seating, and limited indoor seating as well.

Ward E Councilman James Solomon, non-profit Keep Jersey City Beautiful, and non-profit Adopt a Block are teaming up Clean Green Jersey City for a 5-week street clean-up campaign that continues today at Hamilton Park. Meet your neighbors, take in some Vitamin D, and help keep Ward E’s streets clean. (You can sign up via this Google form).
