What: Yoga in the Park to Support India
When: Friday, May 21 4pm to 7pm
Where: Hamilton Park
Indians in Jersey City, Ward E councilperson James Solomon, and JC Families are teaming up to offer an evening of free yoga at Hamilton Park. The event will serve as a fundraiser for India, which is still in the midst of a COVID-19 crisis. Attendees are encouraged to bring PPE supplies as donations.

What: Burger IM Grand Reopening & Anniversary
When: Saturday, May 22 from 12pm
Where: 2 Journal Square
Burger IM JSQ will celebrate its anniversary and grand reopening today from 12pm. The burger shop, which opened last year in the middle of the pandemic, is celebrating by offering free fries and a drink with any purchase.

What: Nimbus Arts Festival
When: Saturday, May 22 from 1pm to 9pm
Where: 329 Warren Street
Nimbus Dance is back with its first ever Arts Festival. The event kicks off at 1pm with food trucks, drinks (courtesy of CoolVines), and art vendors. Performances begin at 2pm and will include Nimbus Dance’s first live performance in over a year. General admission starts at $5. (Tickets can be purchased vie Eventbrite). Proceeds will benefit the Nimbus Scholarship Fund, making dance and the arts available to all Jersey City youth.

What: The Cottage Weekend Jazz Trio
When: Saturdays & Sundays from 2:30pm to 6pm
Where: 136 Monticello Avenue
The Cottage Jersey City is hosting live musical performances every weekend. (Note, they recently tweaked the time so the music starts and finishes later in the day). The socially distanced event is held in The Cottage’s outdoor patio. As a reminder, The Cottage is BYOB (and they offer killer pastries and brunch sandwiches).

What: Corgi Comedy Club
When: Saturday, May 22 from 7:30pm to 10pm
Where: 1 Distillery Drive
Share a few laughs at the Corgi Spirits comedy show. Doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 8pm. It’ll take place inside the Corgi lounge, so bring a face mask with you. Admission is $20 per person.

What: Run for Beer 5K with 902 Brewing
When: Saturday, May 22
Where: 102 Pacific Avenue
The New Jersey Brewery Running Series is coming to Jersey City. The casual “5k-ish” course starts and ends at 902 Brewing. All participants will get a free pint and 902 Brewing swag of their choice. Proceeds will benefit the Jersey City Fraternal Order of Police.

What: Movie Night at Dullboy
When: Sunday, May 23 at 8pm
Where: 364 Grove Street
Every Sunday night, Dullboy will be screening a movie in its heated patio. The first showing is at 6pm followed by a second showing at 8pm. Make sure to give them a follow on Instagram to find out what movie they’ll show.
