What: Zeppelin Hall Street Food World Tour: Latin America
When: Friday, May 12 through Sunday, June 4
Where: 88 Liberty View Drive
Street food fans, loosen your belts because today is the start of Zeppelin Hall’s Street Food World Tour. From May 12 through June 4, Zeppelin Hall will offer a variety of Latin American street dishes including Chicken Tamales from Mexico, Choripán from Argentina, Arepas from Venezuela, and Baleadas from Honduras. Midnight Market is celebrating Mother’s Day with a special Brunch Edition market. The food extravaganza has over 20 confirmed vendors include The Guac Spot, House of Gains, Ono Grinds Poke (their poke tacos are pictured above), and more. The bar will be run by GP’s Hamilton Park and Departed Soles Brewing Co. General admission is $5/pp.

Start the weekend with a gorgeous 5K run (or walk) along the Jersey City waterfront, led by avid runners David Trotta of Whealth and trainer/model Jesse Barton. The casual run is open to all fitness levels and is followed by a quick cool down/meditation session and a healthy meal at the Whealth Harborside Cafe.

Where: Merseles Theater at 339 Newark Avenue
Jersey City Ballroom is hosting their Spring Spectacular — a night of dance performances by JC Ballroom students at the Merseles Theater. Refreshments and wine will be served and a free mini group dance class will be held during intermission. Tickets are $20 online or $25 at the door. Doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 7:30pm. An after party will be held at neighboring Madame Claude Bis.
