What: Kobra Mural Unveiling
When: Friday, November 4 from 5pm – 8pm
Where: Cast Iron Lofts at 300 Coles
Join Mayor Fulop and city officials for the unveiling of Eduardo Kobra’s David Bowie tribute/mural. Complimentary hors d’oeuvres will be served from 6pm to 7pm and PJ Ryan’s Squared will be on hand with a cash bar.

What: Santa’s Arrival at Newport Center Mall
When: Friday, November 4 at 5pm
Where: Macy’s Court at Newport Center Mall
Celebrate Santa’s (very early) arrival at the Newport Center Mall. The event will include a children’s show followed by a holiday parade where children will be able to personally meet Santa at the mall’s Center Court. Other performances by Jersey City-based groups will include Next Step Broadway, St. Peter’s Prep Vox Choir, and Chosen Generational Ministerial Alliance Choir.

What: 3rd Annual Jersey City International Television and Film Festival
When: Friday, November 4 through Sunday, November 6
Where: NJCU School of Business at 200 Hudson & JCMC Museum at 350 Montgomery
The JCITFF is back for its third year providing filmmakers, independent artists, and local movie goers with the opportunity to screen dozens of local and international movies, documentaries, and feature films. Events and screenings will take at various locations throughout Jersey City. Ticket prices start at $10.

What: Midnight Market at Harborside
When: Friday, November 4 from 6.30pm – 12am
Where: Harborside Plaza 3
The brainchild of Chilltown Kitchen’s Alysis Vazquez and Silverman’s Perla Nieves, Midnight Market is an international street food fest taking place on the Jersey City waterfront (inside Harborside Plaza). The event will include dozens of local and tri-state area food vendors, music, and a cash bar. Admission is $5.25 and all menu items will top out at $5.

What: Whealth 5K Harborside Run/Walk
When: Saturday, November 5 from 10am – 12pm
Where: Harborside Esplanade (by Henry’s on the Hudson)
Start the weekend with a gorgeous 5K run (or walk) along the Jersey City waterfront, led by avid runners David Trotta of Whealth and Jesse Barton of CKO Kickboxing. The casual run is open to all fitness levels and is followed by a quick cool down/meditation session and a healthy meal provided by Whealth. Tickets are $10 per person.

What: See Spot Rescued Pup-Up
When: Saturday, November 5 from 10am – 12pm
Where: Hoboken Pet at 524 Washington Street
Lorelai Gilmore needs a home. So this playful, 1.5-year-old Cattle Dog/Terrier mix will be making a pup-up appearance at Hoboken Pet in the hopes of meeting her forever family. Lorelai is great with other dogs, children, and is even housebroken. You can get more details on her at SSR.
