Latham House and sister restaurant Emma’s are hosting their own Restaurant Week and it all comes to an end this weekend. Milk and Cream Bar Jersey City is teaming up with the TMNT and Nickelodeon for the Milk & Cream TMNT Ice Cream Pizza. The “pizza” is made with strawberry cheesecake ice cream on a sugar cookie crust with white chocolate “cheese,” strawberry puree sauce, and topped with berry “pepperonis,” Cocoa Krispies Treat “Sausages,” and green apple gummy “peppers.” There will also be limited edition TMNT cups!

What: Goat Stock: Act 1 Music Showcase

Where: Harsimus Cemetery at 435 Newark Avenue
Live music is back! Goat Stock: Act 1 is a socially distanced outdoor concert benefiting the Historic Jersey City and Harsimus Cemetery. BYO chair or blanket and face masks are required. Admission is $30/pp.

Where: 1 Distillery Drive
This will be Corgi Spirits’ first Friday night comedy show. The show will take place at the distillery’s patio (social distancing will be in effect). There will be stand-up comedy along with a cash bar. Admission is $20/pp.

What: Yoga at Canco Park
When: Saturday, August 15 from 9am to 10pm
Where: 70 Dey Street
Kick off your weekend with an hour of outdoor yoga led by Jessica Strickler. The 1-hour class is free and open to all levels. Masks are required and you must bring your own mat.

What: McGinley Square Pedestrian Plaza Pop-Up
When: Saturday, August 15 from 12pm to 10pm
Where: Jordan Avenue (from Montgomery to Orchard)
The McGinley Square Pedestrian Plaza is back. The McGinley Square SID has organized a second pop-up along Jordan Avenue (between Montgomery and Orchard). The pop-up will occur Saturday from noon till 10pm and will highlight food from Guerrero, Coconut Latin Caribbean Grill, and Rinconcito Copaneco. Plus, Boananas will be there as a special guest.

Where: Corgi Spirits at 1 Distillery Drive
The 3rd Annual Pride with Your Pup Fest will be held at Corgi Spirits this weekend. The event features Kayt Hester as MC, Dancing Tony as DJ, and guest star Anida Tension. But of course, the true stars are the doggos. First and second place prizes will be awarded for most creative doggy costume at each time slot. (Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there will be two time slots with a 50-person max capacity).

Head to 902 Brewing for some brews and comedy this Saturday. The brewery is hosting its first comedy show (free admission) with comedians Irv Hernandez, Peter Wong, Chris Metcalf, Ben Miller, Eagle Witt, and Jared Freid.
