What: Hidden Grounds Latte Art Class

If you’ve missed Hidden Grounds’ latte classes in the past, now’s your chance to learn from the pros. The hands-on class teaches you everything you need to know to make and decorate the perfect latte. Tickets are $49/pp or $75 for two people. Admission covers the milk and coffee beans used during the class. There will also be a mini latte throwdown at the end of the class with a special prize for the top winner.

The Jersey City Ballroom is hosting a pop-up dance class at the Sanctuary at Grace Church tonight and everyone is invited. Come with a friend or come by yourself. Admission is $10/pp and it includes a 30-minute swing dance lesson, snacks, and wine/beer.

Zeppelin Hall’s annual Chili Festival comes to a close this weekend. This will be your last chance to order from their special chili menu featuring eight different chilies such as Elk Chili ($12; elk sirloin braised with Pasilla chilies, tomatoes, and poblanos), Gator Chili Tacos ($11; chunks of alligator sausage/chorizo roasted over chipotle), and traditional Beef Chili ($10; beef, beans, and cheddar cheese).

Today is the big day — Marketplace JC is kicking off a new season at Magnolia Landing. The outdoor market — which will be held every first and third Saturday of the month through November — includes artisan, vintage, and various food vendors. There will also be live music courtesy of Riverview Jazz. New and veteran vendors include PJ Ryan’s Squared, Fil Fil Foods, Eemas Cuisine, and Moffle Bar. .
