Pet adoptions and holiday pop-up markets will rule this weekend in Jersey City. Also look out for JC Families’ holiday party and Third & Vine’s very first wine & cheese tasting. And if you happen to find yourself across the Hudson, make sure to check out Brookfield Place’s “Quiet Clubbing” party.
What: Liberty Humane Society $12 Adoptions
When: Friday (2pm till 7pm), Saturday & Sunday (11am till 4pm)
Where: Liberty Humane Society at 235 Jersey City Blvd.

What: K9dergarten Adoption Event & Christmas Party
When: Saturday, December 12th from 11am till 2pm (adoption), 3pm till 6pm (holiday party)
Where: K9dergarten at 173 Newark Avenue
K9dergarten will be bustling more than usual this weekend. On Saturday from 11am till 2pm is See Spot Rescued’s Winter Wonderland Adoption Event. Following the adoption is the K9dergarten Annual Holiday Party. In addition to free day care from 3pm till 4pm (for current client pups only), there will also be plenty of tail waggin’ as Santa himself arrives to take photos with the pups from 4pm till 5pm.

What: JC Families Annual Holiday Party
When: Saturday, December 12th from 10am till 1pm
Where: Club Transmission at 150 Bay Street
Celebrate the holidays with the entire family at JC Families’ Annual Holiday Party. The child-friendly event will include pictures with Santa, arts & crafts, holiday cookie decorating, and a child-friendly dance off. The event costs $14 per child; adults enter free of charge.

What: Quiet Clubbing at Brookfield Place
When: Saturday, December 12th & Sunday, December 13 from 7pm till 11pm
Where: Winter Garden at Brookfield Place (above the WTC Path hub)
The Winter Garden is hosting two quiet clubbing events this weekend. Quiet clubbing is a new way to club. When you arrive you’ll receive a pair of wireless headphones. You can adjust the volume and choose between three different DJs by flipping a switch on the headphones. The headphones light up based on which DJ you’re listening to, so you can dance along with those listening to the same DJ as you. There will be three live DJs spinning — the green DJ will spin top 40 and kids’ favorites, the red DJ 80s, 90s, and 2k music, and the blue DJ will play hip-hop. The event is free, but you must swipe your credit card to receive your special headphones. At the end of the night you must return the headphones or you’ll wind up with a $100 charge.

What: Holiday Market at Bell + Gray
When: Saturday, December 12th through Sunday, December 13th from 11am till 5pm
Where: Bell + Gray at 8 Erie Street
Still haven’t finished your holiday shopping? Bell + Gray is hosting a pop-up holiday market this weekend from 11am till 5pm. There will be different vendors on each day. Saturday will include Homebody Boutique, Gold Label Cosmetics, Eight of Stones, Purple Dahlias, Hammer and Hyde, Deen Boutique, Piamundo, and Guenevere Rodriguez. Sunday’s vendors include Taproot Organics, Eight of Stones, Para New York, Goodie Box Bake Shop, Deen Boutique, Piamundo, and Purple Dahlias. You can follow the restaurant’s Instagram account to find out if further vendors join the market. The restaurant will host an additional pop-up market next weekend as well.

What: Wine & Cheese Tasting at Third & Vine
When: Saturday, December 12th from 4pm till 6pm
Where: Third & Vine at 353 Third Street
Tickets are still available for Third & Vine’s first wine and cheese tasting to be held this Saturday at 4pm. The cocktail party-style event will feature international wines and cheeses paired by Third & Vine’s fromager Jamie Mayne and beverage director Brian Rothbart. Tickets cost $55 per person.

What: Holiday Market at Razza
When: Sunday, December 13th from 12pm till 6pm
Where: Razza at 275 Grove Street
Red Moon and Alchemy Hour are throwing a holiday soiree at Razza. The two shops will showcase their holiday gifts, jewelry, apparel, and accessories this Sunday at Razza from 12pm till 6pm. Razza will provide wine and cocktails — all you need to do is shop. Swing by for gifts, wine, and cocktails.
