What: 11th annual Jersey City Jazz Fest 2024

Where: throughout Jersey City
The Jersey City Jazz Festival is a five day jazz celebration held throughout Jersey City. Most of the events are free with tickets available online for others. The festival ends with a 2-day outdoor festival on the waterfront at Exchange Place.

When: Thursday, May 30 from 8pm
Where: 193 Newark Avenue
Live music returns to Pet Shop JC featuring Wishy Washy, Holzli, and The Burning Young. Meanwhile, PS Wine Bar will feature Tim Berne as part of the Jersey City Jazz Festival.

Where: 594 Palisade Avenue
Raised in Massachusetts, but currently residing in Jersey City, Jack Breslin will bring a night of jazz to Fox & Crow. Admission is $10/pp.

What: San Simón at Fox & Crow
When: Friday, May 31 from 9pm to 11pm
Where: 594 Palisade Avenue
San Simón is best described as soul with a Caribbean pulse. A world music group based in the NYC area, San Simón is fueled by the backgrounds of its players, who come from the Spanish-speaking Caribbean. Admission is $10/pp.

What: JC Night Market 2024

Where: City Hall Ancillary Lot (179 Montgomery)
Jersey City Night Market is back at the City Hall Lot. The outdoor food festival is free to attend and will feature food, live music, and more.

What: The DT’s at Fox & Crow
When: Saturday, June 1 from 9pm to 11pm
Where: 594 Palisade Avenue
The DT’s shift harmoniously from rock to blues, to power pop. Their modern pop approach and a wide array of vintage influences are key in their collective songwriting skills. Admission is $10/pp.

What: 13th Annual Jersey City Ward Tour
When: Sunday, June 2 at 11am
Where: Exchange Place
Bike JC’s Jersey City Ward Tour is an annual bike ride that cycles through all six wards that make up Jersey City. The 15-mile ride begins at Exchange Place and ends at the Jersey City Jazz Festival at Exchange Place. Admission is $10/pp.

What: Maddy Rose Sunday Spritz Social
When: Sunday, June 2 from 1pm to 3pm
Where: 76 Audrey Zapp Drive
Maddy Rose is a Mediterranean-inspired restaurant at Liberty House. The restaurant is hosting an unlimited spritz and snacks social for two hours. Admission is $60/pp (or $48/pp for Landmark Club members).
