What: Jersey City Summer Beer, Wine, Spirits Festival
When: Friday, July 16 from 6:30pm to 10pm
Where: Urby Parking Lot at 200 Greene
The Jersey City Summer Beer, Wine & Spirits Festival is an outdoor festival giving you access to a wide variety of wine and spirits from around the globe. There will be over 100 featured brands including Misunderstood Whiskey, Corgi Spirits, Departed Soles, All Points West, NJ Beer Co., and more. (You can find the full list here). Admission is $70/pp.

What: Corgi Spirits Comedy Weekend
When: Friday through Sunday
Where: 1 Distillery Drive
Corgi Spirits is hosting an entire weekend of comedy shows starting Friday night with The Decepticomics. The distillery will also have comedy shows Saturday at 3pm, 6pm and 9pm as well as Sunday at 3pm. Tickets start at $10.

What: Movies in the Park (The Lion King)
When: Friday, July 16 at 8:30pm
Where: Audubon Park
Movies in the Park returns this week with a free performance of Disney’s The Lion King. Bring a blanket or lawn chair. The movie starts at sunset.

What: Live Music at Belle Ame Cafe
When: Saturday, July 17 from 12pm to 3pm
Where: 76 Cottage Street
Recently opened Belle Ame Cafe is hosting a live/free performance by Ian Kenselaar just outside its cafe.

What: Pushing Up the Daises Benefit Concert
When: Saturday, July 17 from 1:30pm
Where: 435 Newark Avenue at Harsimus Cemetery
Pushing Up the Daises is a fundraiser for the Historic Harsimus Cemetery. Multiple bands will perform starting at 1:50pm with the final performance starting at 9:20pm. Tickets start at $20/pp for day passes or $40/pp for all-access passes.

What: Smorgasburg Jersey City
When: Saturday, July 17 from 11am to 6pm
Where: 195 Hudson
Smorgasburg is back at Harborside for another weekend of eats. The outdoor market will offer food from numerous vendors including Cake Jars (Jersey City-based), Salt & Seed (Jersey City-based), Angry Archie’s (Jersey City-based), Tradewinds II (Jersey City-based), Carlitos Barbecue Taqueria, D’Abruzzo, Duck Season, and more. The market will operate every Saturday through October. The event is rain or shine and admission is free.

What: The Cottage Weekend Jazz Trio
When: Saturdays & Sundays from 12pm to 3pm
Where: 136 Monticello Avenue
The Cottage Jersey City is hosting live musical performances every weekend. (Note, they recently tweaked the time so the music starts and finishes later in the day). The socially distanced event is held in The Cottage’s outdoor patio. As a reminder, The Cottage is BYOB (and they offer killer pastries and brunch sandwiches).

Sunday Events
What: Jersey City Summerfest
When: Sunday, July 18 from 6pm to 8pm
Where: Nroth Cove Field at Liberty State Park
Jersey City Summerfest is back. Every Sunday evening (along with Tuesday evenings) a free concert will be held at LSP. The concerts will take place through August with performers specializing in Motown, jazz, blues, vintage/classic Rock, Cuban dance, and more. This Sunday will feature Beatles cover band Hey Bulldog.

What: Movie Night at Dullboy
When: Sunday, July 18 at 8pm
Where: 364 Grove Street
