What: Latham House’s last goodbye

If you haven’t heard the news, Latham House is permanently closing this Sunday after brunch. Make sure to pay them one last visit before they’re gone. The good news is that owner Dan Latham will start a new project as executive chef at The Table at 3 Acres at 400 Claremont Avenue in Jersey City’s West Side neighborhood.

The House of Hot Chicken is coming to downtown Jersey City. The fried chicken eatery is opening inside Oliva Market. (They’ve taken over the former Falafel Station outpost). Saturday will be their grand opening day.

The Jersey City Oddities Market is back with Spring Mourning — an art market and oddities event at Sip Studios. The market will feature over 20 vendors of the old and the odd, along with a series of live performances. Admission is $10/pp or $12 (day of) at the door.
