Nimbus Dance Works presents its annual holiday tradition: the Jersey City Nutcracker. The Jersey City Nutcracker is a modern take on Tchaikovsky’s holiday classic telling the story of two children’s urban holiday adventure leading them through fantasy, adversity, and celebration while teaching them lessons about friendship and community along the way. There will be multiple shows this weekend with tickets starting from $30/pp.

Local singer/songwriter Sean Kiely will perform at Fox & Crow tonight. Kiely has released several acclaimed recordings under his own name, in addition to being an in-demand guitarist and singer on the local bluegrass scene and producer for other artists. Admission is $10/pp.

Jersey City based violinist James Keene will perform with pianist HsinYi Tsai. The recital will open with Robert Schumann’s Fantasiestucke. Second on the program is Claude Debussy’s Violin Sonata. The concert will conclude with Johannes Brahms’ Violin Sonata No. 2. Admission is free.

Andy Gersh has been a professional magician for more than 15 years. He performs regularly with Speakeasy Magick at the Mckittrick Hotel. Enjoy an evening of magic as he brings his show to Corgi Spirits. Admission is $20.
