What: Groove on Grove Season Finale
When: Friday, September 7 from 3pm to 10pm
Where: Grove Plaza
Groove on Grove closes its 2018 season with one final outdoor concert showcasing pop, jazz, reggae, rock & roll, and R&B. There will be food and beer for purchase from Porta, Talde, South House, and Orale. The concert will also double as a kick off for JC Fridays’ 50th festival. What: Headroom Bar & Social DJ Night

Where: 150 Bay Street
Headroom Bar & Social kicks off its all-night DJ parties tonight. The neighborhood bar will feature a live, in-house DJ spinning seven nights a week. Plus, enjoy happy hour from 5pm to 7pm and 11pm to midnight.

What: Berry Good Yoga with Dina Ivas

Where: Sweetberry Bowls at 179 Newark Avenue
Sweetberry Bowls is teaming up with local yoga instructor Dina Ivas to host its first morning yoga class. Tickets are $25/pp and admission includes a 1-hour yoga class followed by a complimentary açai or salad bowl of your choice.

What: Famous Food Market + Lutze Rescue
When: Saturday, September 8 & Sunday, September 9 from 11am to 7:30pm
Where: Fifteen 2nd Street
The final four Famous Food Markets of the season have arrived and each market will have a different theme. First up is Lutze Rescue — an event/fundraiser for the Liberty Humane Society, Hounds in Pounds, and NYC Second Chance Rescue. Come to the Lutze for pet adoptions, low-cost immunizations, microchipping, and more. Adopt a pet and you’ll get a free pair of tix to the JC Distillery Fest.

What: Hamilton Park BBQ Festival

Where: Hamilton Park
Back for its 9th year, the Hamilton Park BBQ Festival is a day-long party showcasing the area’s best barbecue eats. Food vendors will include Hamilton Pork, GP’s, The Hamilton Inn, Red White & Que Smokehouse, Jimmy’s BBQ, and more. Plus, don’t forget dessert by Milk, Sugar, Love.

What: Hudson West Folk Festival
When: Saturday, September 8 from 12pm to 9pm
Where: Grace Church at 39 Erie Street
The Hudson West Folk Festival is an all-day music fest with 10 local and nationally known acts performing everything from blues to honky-tonk. (You can check out the artists here). There will be a bar, food venues, and music workshops. Admission is $25 in advance or $30 at the door.

Where: Harborside Atrium
