What: Water Lantern Festival

The New York Water Lantern Festival promises to be a gorgeous festival held in our very own backyard. Tickets — which are priced at $40/pp — include admission to the festival, a floating water lantern, wristband, and keychain LED flashlight. It also covers the cost of cleanup after the event has finished.

What: Waterfront Yoga w/ Michelle Timek
When: Saturday, July 21 from 9am till 10:15am
Where: J. Owen Grundy Park (Pier outside Exchange Place Path station)
Michelle Timek’s outdoor yoga class returns this weekend with an hour-long Vinyasa Flow class held at J. Owen Grundy Pier. The class costs $10/pp and includes a free ticket to a wellness raffle.

New York’s Famous Food Market is back for another weekend in Jersey City. This weekend, the outdoor market will include Ani Ramen, Casa Cubana, MozzArepas, Taste of Poland, No Forks Given, and more.

When: Saturday, July 21 from 11am to 9pm
Where: Lincoln Park
House music all night long. Say what? That’s the plan for Lincoln Park’s First Annual House Music Festival. The DJs and music will play rain or shine. Party starts at 11am.

What: Annual Dog Days of Summer Dog Festival
When: Saturday, July 21 from 12pm to 4pm
Where: 30 Regent Street
Bring your puppers to Liberty Harbor for the 2nd Annual Dog Days of Summer Dog Festival. The free, public party will include rescues from See Spot Rescued, food from neighboring Zeppelin Hall Biergarten, and of course plenty of treats for your furry BFFs courtesy of Hound About Town, K9dergarten, Petsmart, and more.

What: Green Villain Block Party
When: Saturday, July 21 from 12pm to 6pm
Where: Vyv Building at 474 Warren Street
Come watch as 15 local and invited artists transform 3,000 square feet of wall space into a mural masterpiece. The free block party will include live music and eats courtesy of Incrediballs, Park & Munch, and Luigi’s Ice Cream.

Where: 136 Magnolia Avenue
Located at Magnolia Landing every first and third Saturday of the month — Marketplace JC includes artisan, vintage, and various food vendors. There will also be live music courtesy of Riverview Jazz. Vendors this weekend include Trio Fudge, Sweet Kiss Lemonade, and Leigh’s Art Shop.

When: Sunday, July 22 at 11:30am
Where: Lincoln Park
Cure your house music hangover with a rejuvenating class of yoga led by instructor Jessica Namit. The class is part of the Farmers Market at Lincoln Park and is open to all levels. Classes will run on Sundays through the month of July.
