The JC Public Library is offering a free screening of The Rebellious Life or Mrs. Rosa Parks followed by a discussion with director Yoruba Richen. The documentary is based on the bestselling biography by Jeanne Theoharis and was produced by award-winning journalist Soledad O’Brien. It takes a deeper dive into Rosa Parks’ accomplishments and the impact of her fight to overcome racial injustice. Admission is free.
