The last weekend of 2018 is going to be a quiet one in Jersey City, but fear not because Departed Soles is releasing a new beer and The Seed NYC is hosting a vegan dinner. Plus, Marvel fans can head to Liberty State Park for a memorial service for the late Stan Lee.
What: Departed Soles AutoHops Release
When: Friday, December 28 from 4pm to 10pm
Where: 150 Bay Street
Departed Soles is releasing AutoHops — a hazy IPA with Columbus, Galaxy, and El Dorado hops. Not sure what all that means? Then you’ll just have to visit the tasting room to give their new IPA a try. Plus, you’ll be able to snag DS’ limited edition glasses (pictured) at $10/glass.

Chef Tere Fox and chef Pas Niratbhand are teaming up for a 5-course vegan/holiday dinner in Jersey City. (Location to be disclosed upon purchasing ticket). This month’s pop-up dinner will have a holiday/New Year’s Eve theme. Admission is $60/pp or $75/pp for the CBD-infused 5-course dinner.

What: Stan Lee Memorial at Liberty State Park
When: Saturday, December 29 from 2pm to 4pm
Where: 1 Audrey Zapp Drive
A Stan Lee memorial service will be held at Liberty State Park today. Cosplay is allowed — especially if you’re dressing up as your favorite Marvel character — and fans are encouraged to bring photos, flowers, or candles to honor Lee’s memory.
