The Pop-Up Project LSP is a 3-day festival featuring arts, live music, food trucks, and a full-service beer garden. Saturday’s event will feature a mural installation from the non-profit S.A.G.E coalition along with a full day of live music.

What: 8th Annual New Jersey Beer & Food Festival

Where: Crystal Springs Resort in Sussex, NJ
The 8th Annual New Jersey Beer & Food Festival returns to the Crystal Springs Resort in Sussex County, NJ, this weekend. The weekend-long festival will showcase over 150 craft beers along with a variety of locally-sourced food. Events include a beer and chocolate seminar, yoga with beer tasting, and golf tournament. For the first time the event will also take place over the span of two days: Saturday for adults (21 and over) and Sunday for families. Tickets are $75 on Saturday and $55 on Sunday.

Iris Records is hosting a vinyl party with overĀ 30 tables of records and CDs for sale from all music genres. The all-day event will feature live DJs and is located just outside the PATH Grove station.

What: Berry Lane Park Grand Opening

Where: 1000 Garfield Avenue
Berry Lane Park is a 17-acre recreational space that was formerly a collection of warehouses, rail yards, and junk yards. The newly-constructed park is celebrating its grand opening with Mayor Steven Fulop and an all-day line up of events, which will include music, sports clinics, children’s activities, and various food vendors. Have A Night reports that the park includes two basketball courts, two tennis courts, a baseball field, a soccer field, a playground, and a passive recreation area that include 600 new trees and a rain garden.

Chilltown Collective is an apparel and lifestyle brand based in Jersey City. This Saturday they’re celebrating their 1-year anniversary with a block party in Journal Square that will be filled with music, art/photography from local artists, and plenty of food from the likes of Porta, The Angry Crab, and Baonanas.

What: Jersey City Brew Club Homebrew Walking Tour
When: Saturday, June 25 at 1pm
Where: Gazebo at Van Vorst Park
Join the Jersey City Brew Club as they host their annual walking tour of the best homebrewers in Jersey City and Hoboken. The tour will meet at Van Vorst Park and then enter the apartments of four of North Jersey’s finest homebrewers to display their setups, discuss their craft, and sample their homemade beer. A $5 minimum payment is required (which covers the cost of a Light Rail pass), but a $30 donation is suggested.

JCity Realty is hosting a pop-up show Saturday night featuring the music of Carrie Welling, Kasey Williams, and Under Great Lights. Welling is a Nashville-based indie, pop-country singer reminiscent of Natalie Maines and Stevie Nicks. Williams is a New York-based singer-songwriter with a voice evoking Ingrid Michealson and lyrics like Regina Specktor. Brent Shuttleworth is a Nashville-based artist known as Under Great Lights. He has toured and opened for Pete Yorn, Sixpence None The Richer, Immortal Technique, and George Clinton. The event is free, but a $20 donation is recommended.
