The Exchange Place Alliance is hosting another night of Movies on the Pier. This Friday you’ll be able to catch a free screening of The Lego Movie. The movie starts at sunset (around 7:30pm). Food and drink will be available for purchase.

Saturday Events
What: Smorgasburg Ice Cream Alley at Jersey City
When: Saturday, July 16 from 11am to 6pm
Where: Harborside Plaza & Hudson Street (behind Smorgasbar)
There will be a special treat at Smorgasburg Jersey City this weekend. Various ice cream vendors will be onsite helping you cool down with the perfect scoop of ice cream. Vendors include Jersey City’s own Jersey & Co. Gelato along with Milk Sugar Love. The outdoor market will also offer food from numerous vendors including Cake Jars, Carlitos Barbecue Taqueria, and more. The market will operate every Saturday. Admission is free and there will be various outdoor dining options throughout Harborside JC.

What: Lucky 7’s Rock n’ Roll BBQ
When: Saturday, July 14 from 2pm to 7pm
Where: 322 Second Street (on Coles)
It’s that time of year again! Lucky 7’s Annual BBQ has arrived bringing a full day of whiskey, live music, and cold beer. Live performances will take place outside the bar and will start at 3pm with sets from Hudson City Rats, The Vaughns, and more.

What: The Billy Hart Quartet at The Statuary
When: Saturday, July 16 from 6pm to 10pm
Where: 53 Congress Street
Throughout his career, Billy Hart has recorded 12 albums in his own name and performed as a sideman on more than 600 recordings. His current quartet includes Ethan Iverson, Ben Street, and Mark Turner. Doors open at 6pm and the music starts at 7pm. A suggested music donation of $25 is appreciated. All music donations go toward artist fees for this and future events.
