What: Bacon Fest at Zeppelin Hall

From bacon burgers to bacon lasagna — Bacon Fest is back at Zeppelin Hall. Through Sunday, November 22, you can order from 20 different bacon entrees that include dishes like bacon grilled cheese, bacon mac & cheese, and a 64-ounce tomahawk ribeye steak wrapped in bacon. Plus, you can get free bacon strips at the bar from 4pm till 7pm.

What: Rocky Horror Picture Show
When: Friday, November 5 from 6:30pm to 9:30pm
Where: Historic Jersey City and Harsimus Cemetery (435 Newark Avenue)
The Historic Jersey City and Harsimus Cemetery will screen the Rocky Horror Picture Show complete with audience participation. The screening will be led by the Home of Happiness cast. Tickets are $20 per person and must be purchased online. (There will be no ticket sales at the doors). Masks are required.

What: Cypress Brewing Takeover at Homegrown JC
When: Friday through Saturday
Where: 150 Bay Street
Cypress Brewing is bringing its brews to Jersey City this weekend for a tap takeover at Homegrown JC. The tap list includes Dimensional Divide IPA, Lighthouse Coconut Brown Ale, Mo Vanilla Mo Cinammon IPA, and Bruu’d Blood Orange IPA.

What: The Big Dig 2020
When: Saturday, November 7 from 9am to 3pm
Where: Leonard Gordon Park at 3301 Kennedy Blvd.
The Leonard Gordon Park Conservancy will plant 2,500 tulip and daffodil bulbs at Leonard Gordon Park this Saturday morning. The free event is part of the Jersey City Parks Coalition Big Dig 2020 event and anyone can join/help plant the bulbs. Gloves and tools will be provided along with a free lunch.

What: 5K Run for Friends of Liberty State Park
When: Saturday, November 7 from 10am
Where: 200 Morris Pesin Drive
Run for Liberty 5K is a casual race benefiting non-profit Friends of Liberty State Park. The run is happening both in person (with social distancing) and virtually (at home or wherever you’d like to run). Admission is $30/pp.

The Cottage Jersey City is hosting a cookie pop-up with the Cookie Cake Co. this weekend. The event will be held outdoors in the market’s garden and customers will have the chance to make their own cookie sandwich or purchase cookies.

What: Comedy Night at Corgi Spirits
When: Saturday, November 7 from 6:30pm
Where: 1 Distillery Drive
We could all use some comic relief after this week. Corgi Spirits will host two shows tonight at 6:30pm and 9pm. The shows will take place outside and there will be a cash bar for cocktails. Admission is $20/pp.
